About

My name is Nancy. I mom of three. I am madly in love with my husband. And I love Jesus. I am a Vice President at a Christian university near Chicago. I find so much joy in connecting with people and I treasure my family and friends. I strive to help others and love being a leader wherever I am called to do so. I love making memories and creating experiences. I hope to burn both ends of the candle when this is all over. Anything left would be a wasted opportunity.

  2. Hi Nancy

I found your blog from the might’s website. Please don’t be afraid of having a child with Down Syndrome. I work with many children who have it and they are absolutely beautiful souls & can go on to have a fantastic lives.

I have a website (www.mumspiration.com.au) and would love for you to write an article for it. It can be the same post that you have done above, or something different. We are particularly trying to build up info around “Prenatal Diagnosis Support” so any input on that would be amazing.

Best wishes for your journey, I trust that you will provide a beautiful family for Cody. xx

  3. Rosalyn

Hello Nancy. My name is Rosalyn and I have a four year-old daughter, Kaelyn, who has Down Syndrome. I was one of those moms who after delivering her beautiful baby girl discovered she has Down Syndrone. I was terrified of the unknown with a million questions and worries, but I am thankful and beyond blessed to have her in our lives. You will experience this too with Cody, and it’s all worth it. Being a mom means having a piece of your heart outside of you and never really knowing what’s going to happen. His sister and brother will also love him very much and will be amazing role models to him, and the help will be wonderful, too 🙂
I loved reading your blog. Please share any concerns and thoughts, we are moms and look out for one another. Have a blessed delivery and keep us posted on baby Cody, please.
